Vír and its immediate surroundings are perfect for cycling. While quite a decent infrastructure has been developed for road bikes over the last few years, mountain bikes are still a bit neglected. One of the main goals of our project is to mark the most interesting routes for MTB and to build today's very popular trails that will satisfy even technically skilled bikers.

Since June 2018, the Adrex Base Camp test center and bike rental has been in operation, offering, in addition to exclusive bicycles, facilities and services with the “Cyclists Welcome” certification. This includes tips for routes of various difficulties and the gps navigation which you can upload here. In addition, if you do not rent an electric bike and you do not want to pedal up the hills, let yourself be taken by a "special bike shuttle car" to one of the surrounding peaks.

Probably the most beautiful undemanding bike ride starts right on the Vír Dam, from where it leads along the right-bank road towards the village of Dalečín. The path offers almost all time unique views of the Vír dam lake and is designed exclusively for hikers and cyclists. From Dalečín, it continues along the road towards Veselí, Hluboké, Korouhvice and after 23 kilometers it returns to the starting point, ie to the dam in the village of Vír. In a way, however, it doesn't matter at all which direction you set out from Vír, as you will find beautiful nature everywhere.
