Ice skating

Only a few small villages in the Czech Republic can boast such a hockey history as Vír. The local "squad" used to play in the First Division, in which it fought serious matches with teams like Kometa Brno, among others. While these times are unfortunately gone, the fame of the local ice hockey players is still commemorated by a large ice rink in the part of the village aptly called "Ledničky"(Fridges). But even Ledničky cold location can't do wonders, and the last few winters have been a bit of a problem with ice. After this year's frosty season, however, the question of the reconstruction of the ice rink, in which we would like to participate as a partner, reopened.
