Motocross

The foundations for Dalečín Motocross were laid in 1959 by Mr. Miroslav Hakl, who under the banner of AMK Dalečín started the construction of a track called "Písečská zmole". Less than twenty years later, Dalečín hosted the first World Championship races, which took place here regularly until the fateful year of 1991. At that time, Dalečín took over the organization after Holice at the last minute, and an unprepared and pro-event event brought the local club to bankruptcy. During the last 12 years, however, motocross has returned to Dalečín, thanks to the incredible enthusiasm of the current track administrator, Miroslav Vašek, a native of Vír. He managed to organize several big races here called MOTOLEVEL MX CUP (formerly VYSOČINA MX CUP) and on Saturday, April 22, 2017, the Championship of the Czech Republic in Motocross officially returned to Dalečín!
