Weak traffic on the roads and beautiful nature all around - what more could you want for running. It is probably unnecessary to describe the cross-country trails around Vír, so we will focus on several important events organized by the local athletic team. The most famous is the traditional Small Svratka Marathon (MSM), which has been running from Vír to Nedvědice for already several decades. The MSM usually takes place during the penultimate Saturday in August, but it is definitely a good idea to check the date in advance.
