Firefighters racing

Since 2011, young firefighters from Vír have been competing in the Children's Fire League in a Fire Attack races, where around thirty teams compete in a total of six races. Kids train every week throughout the year and in 2014 they ranked second overall. Recently, the FTA Iron Firefighter competition has also become increasingly popular, with last year's member of SDH Vír Miroslav Coural Jr. also taking part. In the competition of fifty fighters, he finally placed in a beautiful sixteenth place in Doubravice nad Svitavou.
